I Am Not There

Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glint on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you wake in the morning hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
of quiet birds in circling flight.
I am the soft starlight at night.
Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there. I did not die.

Lawnmowers can Kill!

No, but really, they can! John was mowing the lawn last week and shot a baseball sized rock out from under it. It flew a good 30 feet, and smashed the windshield of our new Jetta. (Thank goodness for glass coverage!) If this had hit anyone, human or animal, they would have been killed. Please, do NOT let your children and pets around you while you're mowing!
