New Song: Amarillo

April is coming
With amarillo genes
Her little feet once running
In poppy field dreams

But her world has gone angry
With too many mouths to feed
Left her skin and bones
A child casualty

Will you eat?
Please do this for me
I'm so scared that I'm empty
So you're in good company

Won't you eat?
You know the moon is hungry
Heard he's made of cheese
And that's good enough for me

Sure is a long drive
Onto Cleveland Road
Where a momma leaves a baby
On the doorstep alone

The House was so scary
Made out pretty in paint
Housing skeletons
Because now their worlds need to wait

Will you eat?
Please do this for me
I'm so scared that I'm empty
So you're in good company

Won't you eat?
You know the moon is hungry
Heard he's made of cheese
And that's good enough for me

Will your alien
Come to take you away again?
To a galaxy
Gone in the dark
Where you'll be lost to me?
Or will you find that rosey sunshiny you,
The strong you,
On your own
Sweet amarillo mine?

April is coming
With depressed genes
Left her skin and bones
She's always beautiful to me

Will you eat?
Please just eat?
Whether you like it or not
Decide to eat
Just breathe
Eat
